the ground, that is, finally.
We are ahead of schedule this year! We've got rows of peas, carrots and lettuce in the ground. & flats of onions, leeks, and tomato's in my back yard. On Friday I noticed the leeks had sprouted, small, exciting signs of life! Nothing from the tomato's yet. Go tomato's go.
This past Saturday, we planted the last of our rocky top lettuce seed mix, spinach, and cabbage. The wind was really blowing and 1/2 of the cabbage seeds were blown across the soil. It'll be interesting to see where heads of cabbage end up.
Thankfully for the rain.
